Your donation matters.
Your contribution is more than just dollars and cents to a life-threatening illness like Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
It is a testament to the lives that are being changed right before our very eyes. Because, with your generosity, you are quite literally:
Giving the gift of more birthdays.
Helping children walk for the first time.
Creating a future where SMA will no longer have the upper hand.
This is what happens when you show up for the things you believe in. The ground shakes. The mountains move. And the magic happens. Here’s how your contribution to Working On Walking does just that.
Make a donation today.
Boston Children’s Hospital
The SMA Clinic of Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing care for those with SMA, as well as conduct clinical trials and administer treatments already on the market. The clinic is entirely run on grants and donations.
Cure SMA
A national organization based out of Illinois, Cure SMA provides support to patients and families and is leading the way for funding research efforts in the community. Currently, they are investing in 20 potential new treatments in the SMA Drug Pipeline.
In other words, you have helped:
Fund life-changing treatments that have been rewriting the future of SMA
Provide the means to make current treatments (Spinraza, Evrysdi, and Zolgensma) financially accessible for all
Fund research efforts and all those involved in exploring medical breakthroughs for this disease
And, well, dare we say... WOW! :)
